This has been in my head for a while and took forever to research and color. It seems every little girl wants to be a princess and no little boy wants to be a prince therefore a ton of princess clubs!
I swear the princes get no love in Disney (unless you're an animal. Simba-Lion King/ Bambi-Bambi). From left to right "Beast"-Beauty&the Beast, "Prince Charming"-Snow White, "Prince Charming"-Cinderella, "Prince Charming" AKA Prince Philip -Sleeping Beauty Eric-Little Mermaid ____WHAT THEY"RE SAYING___(if you cant read the font) "Even the teapot has a name" "Do I even have a name?" "Does Prince Charming count?" "My name was mentioned ONCE!" " Ha losers! People know my name!" It's sad in a way, about half the princes have no name. As a little girl growing up I loved the princess but now I feel that it's time for either a human prince or a female animal to be the staring role in a Disney movie. animal cartoon movies-- all of them the star is male human cartoon movies--all of them (if royalty is involed) the princess gets all the attention. ((Aladdin is not a prince until the 3rd movie where he finally marries.)) OH I've been dieing to do this pic forever. If anyone wants a sequal to this, just ask *****EDIT***** There has been plenty of comments about Beast's true name being Adam... Well this pic is just making fun of the fact that his name was NEVER mentioned in the MOVIE; I'm not commenting on one version of the original fairy tale. A little while ago my parents replaced their VSH version of the movie with the DVD and on one of the the commentaries the director stated that they realized that they forgot to give Beast a name. |

Oh I had a question about the names long ago. And so I looked it up on line. Beast is named Adam, but they never mention it in the movie. Snow White's prince is just Prince. Cindy's is Prince Charming.

Have you ever watched the Special Edition of Beauty and the Beast? If you watch the commentary version (which is funnier then I could imagin) at the climatic part before Gaston falls to his death, the directors and writers admit they 'didnt realise that "Beast" didnt have a name'.
Its funny how some characters are asigned names/titles based on birth.

On a slightly different note, is Adam a French name? LOL It's really hard for me to remember that Beauty and the Beast took place in France. hehehe the only ones with French accents are the feather duster and Lumieare (spelling?-I dont take French)

lol Did you know in the original Sleeping Beauty the prince didn't have a name? And his mother was an ogress? And they had two children. Daughter Dawn and son Day.
